OrgPad allows completely different data and information structures than mind maps or linear text. We call it free structuring.
Instant thoughts that I can't quite place, but I have the freedom to just place them somewhere, because they belong to the topic. I can work them in later.
Derivation, association, continuity with time - the childhood "Why? And why? And why?" Association is very effective for supporting memory.
In a snake we can go back to the past point, but with a new experience - we can view the same concept now from another point of view. Maybe we can even rethink it. This connection requires more conscious reflection and therefore awareness.
Our brain stores information in a 3D network. Each idea is related to a lot of knowledge, experience, memories. On the basis of this, new associations are formed. The same concept causes two people to have different associations. They connect infinitely in this network.
When we speak, we create a sequence of different sounds bound to time. Therefore, linear text is actually the timeline of sounds. When we think, we create and recall these elemental networks. Therefore, for thinking, we need a different tool and a different method than linear notation - free structuring, where we can quite freely structure ideas. This process can be made as possible as long as we move into a digital environment that can react dynamically to new content, working as quickly and with as little distraction as possible. This is why the OrgPad was created.
Individual structures are created spontaneously in all people, if they work freely. Typically, in one created network, we find a combination of several or even all of these structures. It is useful to be aware of them, so that we can, for example, "cut off" when we don't know how to proceed. Also, to understand how we think - ourselves and others.
Enumeration (thought map, point list) - here I realized that thinking only in this model is limiting. The moment we remove the center, it forces us to start other patterns of thinking. But it doesn't mean that this pattern is wrong. It's just good to know that I can go further.
Multilevel thought map, i.e. tree structure
Analysis and synthesis - I break one thing down from several points of view, then reunite them, but into a new thing. Then there is comparison.
Searching for connections, elemental thinking - it is possible to combine everything with everything. Here, new awareness and ideas are created.
A very tangled clump - testifies to an intense passion full of emotions - absorbed by the topic both because of enthusiasm for the topic or the activity of interconnection itself, and also because of the need to vent something, for example. But further, it also gives direct feedback if the topic we are working on is too complicated.
